Skaters will skate on anything!
That was a great article about how skaters will see something interesting and think "I can skate that" Its a real shame that so many parks have been destroyed either by the skaters themselves or vandals looking to steal the metal for scrap... You can't take the street away from them though and that will never change. If you want to see a video of an 11 yr old skating in a mall and some other wild spots check out Willem Weijts from Designed By Failure, he's gonna be insane when he grows up
